Wow, is it really July already? It has been a bit of a whirlwind year so far for everyone, but we are happy to say that it hasn’t stopped us from getting to grips with our second release this year. So here it is…
If you are already using Worktribe and managed to come along to Worktribe Connect, you’ll already have a good idea of what we’ve been working on since the beginning of the year.
For those of you who couldn’t make it, or are completely new to Worktribe, here are a few of the highlights of developments over the last 6 months:
Platform-level enhancements
Our Developers and Devops team have been hard at work behind the scenes ensuring that platform performance is optimum and that academics and administrators can continue to access thousands of records quickly and efficiently. This includes an overhaul of the search engine, HR ingests, nightly extracts, output harvesting and indexing.
Following on from a special interest group request earlier this year, we’ve been working hard to implement a number of enhancements to permissions structures within Worktribe. These changes allow our clients increased flexibility when it comes to assigning roles, meaning more control for administrators over what certain users can access and actions they can take.
REF 2021 ready
As usual, we’ve been keeping on top of REF changes that might affect the institutions we work with. Significant developments to Worktribe REF earlier this year mean that we are now poised and ready to help institutions make the best submission possible. Bring it on, REF 2021!
Worktribe Ethics
Since launching Worktribe Ethics last year, we’ve worked closely with a number of our clients to ensure an agreed common question set and added additional workflow features to manage the complexities of ethics approvals, including anonymous reviews.
Worktribe Curriculum
We’ve made a number of enhancements to Worktribe Curriculum, our curriculum management product including allowing for different delivery models, extending curriculum marketing features and enhancing External Examiner reports.
