As we usher in this latest wave of improvements, a special thanks goes out to all of our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for their time and commitment to providing excellent direction and input across our product areas.

For Worktribe Outputs, this has involved an extended review and update of the outputs metadata. In particular, we have enhanced our support for books and long-form publications, as well as new features such as time-saving tools for Library staff to merge duplicate output records. For Worktribe Ethics, this release brings further support for ethics approvals and reviews by refining the reviewer feedback process and extending our workflow and committees features.

This release also contains updates to our Pre and Post Award products. Strongly driven by the input of the Pre & Post SIG group, and particularly focused on giving university research teams more options for budgetary management and control. We’ve also continued to enhance the configuration ability available in the platform, including enabling institutions to adjust mandatory data for research projects.

The January 2024 release introduces new ways for institutions to track, link, and display information from across the platform. UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) now have their own records within Worktribe, linking together all of the projects, outputs, staff, events and more which have contributed to that SDG. Similar tools give institutions new options for viewing content related to their own specific research centres, themes and groups.
